Brian P. O’Shaughnessy is a recognized authority in IP law and technology licensing. He is a Partner and Chair of the IP Licensing and Transactions Group of Dinsmore & Shohl, Washington, DC. He is a Past President of LES USA & Canada, now serving LES as Sr. Vice President, Public Policy. Brian also serves as Board Chair of the Bayh Dole Coalition.
Mr. O’Shaughnessy is a registered patent attorney with over 35 years’ experience counseling innovators in the creation and strategic use of IP, and in resolving contested matters. He has been retained as an expert witness in IP and licensing disputes by the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Treasury, and by various private enterprises.
