Emily J. Tremblay is a patent litigator at the law firm of Robins Kaplan LLP,  with more than a decade of experience working on some of the most complex patent issues litigated in the U.S. courts. She combines business strategy with her legal acumen, and takes a partnership approach to identifying opportunities and strategies for protecting and monetizing her clients’ intellectual property and technology, with the goal of helping them grow and protect their competitive positions in their markets.

Emily represents clients in complex, multi-million-dollar patent litigation across technologies and the country, including plaintiffs and defendants in the computing, pharmaceutical, medical device, semiconductor, and mechanical spaces. She thrives in the dynamic, fast-changing nature of her clients’ industries, and applies her deep knowledge of those industries to best protect her clients’ valuable interests.

Prior to entering private practice, Emily served as a law clerk for federal judges, and brings her insight into the processes, practices, and personalities of the court to her representation of her clients.  Emily is dedicated to giving back to the community through pro bono legal work; she also serves as a mentor to the next generation of lawyers, particularly women lawyers working in the area of intellectual property. She speaks and writes on intellectual property-related issues, and has been recognized for her work by Euromoney, Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America and LMG Life Sciences, among others.
