Head of US IP Policy, RELX
Karen Marangi is a senior member of RELX’s Federal Government Affairs team and Head of US IP Policy. She oversees RELX’s IP and related AI policy work in the US and advocates for strong IP protections in international agreements. She collaborates closely with senior leaders across Elsevier and LexisNexis and their parent company, RELX.
Prior to joining RELX, Ms. Marangi worked on and off Capitol Hill for over 20 years, including serving on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Ms. Marangi is a graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Law School and began her legal career in San Francisco as an associate at Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe.
