Kevin E. Keller is an attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property, privacy and commercial and licensing transactions, particularly within the AI and tech sectors. As the current Legal/Operations lead at Adept AI Labs in San Francisco, Kevin is responsible for all licensing, commercial, privacy and regulatory issues related to the acquisition of data and the development of multi-modal AI models.
Previously, Kevin held the role of General Counsel at Super, where he spearheaded legal strategies across ecommerce, fintech, and travel, demonstrating a knack for navigating complex regulatory landscapes and pushing innovative fintech products to market.
Kevin’s early career at prominent firms like Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati laid a solid foundation in technology transactions, further honed at global leaders such as Microsoft, Facebook and Amazon. At Amazon, he was integral in scaling legal strategies alongside the company’s explosive growth in AI and consumer electronics, just-walk-out technology and robotics. At Facebook, Kevin led the team responsible for supporting the growth of the company and regularly evaluated the use of AI to make decisions on the platform. His tenure at Instacart as Associate General Counsel further highlights his capability in product legal counsel, particularly in AI-enhanced ecommerce/ad platforms and computer-vision systems in shopping carts.
Kevin is also a named inventor on multiple patents, showcasing his deep involvement in technological innovation.
